Chef Fred Neuville is excited to embark on his first solo venture. "With Fat Hen, I am striving to create a neighborhood restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere and signature French-inspired Southern cuisine," he says. Fat Hen's main dishes center around innovative French classics with Low country flourishes, sourced from the finest local produce farmers. The Braised Chicken features locally raised free-range chicken braised in red wine with rich bacon lardons, root vegetables & mushrooms. Fat Hen's Short Rib, a favorite signature dish among family and friends, is braised for hours in a rich veal broth.

There is an outside area as you walk from the parking lot on the left and I believe you should be fine. Most ppl wearing shorts and tshirts there

Yes they do. Try the Curry mussels if you like mussels. Delicately sweetvmussels in a creamy and spiced up sauce. The appetizer is a good portion, but we ended up eating that and added another dinner portion cause they were soooooooooo good???

We go in Saturday's, and it's about 4pm

All of the staff always wear masks. Great food and so many tables available outside.

Fat Hen is closed July 4th only.

Dont think they were last year.

For sure! Pastrami and Waffles, Blueberry BBQ Duck, Beef Carpacio, etc. Best ever!!!
